The Fort Worth Satellite SIG meets on the fourth Thursday of
the month (except in November) in Fort Worth to learn new tech
com skills, technologies, and perspectives. We try to keep in
touch with the Dallas STC members’ activities, as well as network,
share information, and generally enjoy time with our peers.
Our goal
is to maintain, stimulate, and encourage professionalism in the
field of Technical Communication. All those interested in a career
in technical communication are invited. Membership in STC is not
required to attend.
For May, the Fort Worth
satellite again docks with Dallas for a great end of program year
celebration. note the early date.

2005-2006 program year as the Lone Star Community celebrates our
50th anniversary with Visual Interaction Designer Patrick Hofmann.
Patrick will present Picture performance: evaluating and enhancing
the usability of visual information. Our May 4, 2006 community
meeting is a joint meeting with the LSC Ft. Worth Satellite.
May is also Member Recognition Month! All LSC
members will receive a $5 dinner discount; therefore, members
will pay $15 for the dinner (with reservations).
