Individual Recognitions

Throughout the history of the Lone Star community, many dedicated volunteers have contributed to its success. Society- and community-level honors recognize LSC members' outstanding contributions to the Society, the Lone Star community, and the advancement of the technical communication profession. Individual honors include Fellows, Associate Fellows, and Distinguished Community Service Awards.

Fellow

The highest rank that the Society can confer upon a member is that of fellow. Those who become fellows are associate fellows who have attained such eminence in the arts and sciences of technical communication that they are deemed worthy of being designated among the select few whose service has distinguished both the Society and the profession.
