It is time at last to see who made the cut in the 2007 LSC Competitions. Join us at the annual Awards Banquet Thursday evening, January 10, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Midway Road in Addison.
This is the time that we celebrate and honor our local STC members and non-members who competed in this year's Online Communications, Technical Publications, and Technical Art competition.

This year we had over 50 entries, which our Blue Ribbon Panel judged for us. Of these entries, we have several Distinguished Technical Communication awards as well as a Best in Show in each category. These three entries automatically qualify for entrance to the International Competitions for their respective categories. We continue the Parade of Stars this year, where we ask select winners to give a 5-10 minute presentation about their winning entry. This year, you'll be seeing winning entries from the Online Communications and Technical Publications competition. We know that you will enjoy seeing these entries. As usual, all winning entries will be on display for you to view. You will have time to mingle with all the winners and personally congratulate them. |

Even if you did not win or did not compete this year, attending the banquet is one way to show our members and our non-member winners that you appreciate and honor their achievements. For those of you who did win an award, this is your chance to share your achievement among your peers.
