Just think! Red Sox fans (and I was one, once) no longer have to mutter that plaintive phrase. But 2004 is over, and our inspirational, transformational, muppetational, organizational leader, Jackie Damrau, is ready to get us primed for 2005. We feature not one, but two information-packed articles on how to get ourselves organized, just in time for the new year.
I, for one, certainly could use a New Year's resolution that would clean off my desk, file my papers, and trash all my unneeded stuff.
You might resolve finally to share that pent-up knowledge with readers of Technically Write. We all discover new Web sites, books, and resources that our peers might find useful. Some of you are true experts in aspects of our profession. Reach for that by-line! Let 2005 be the year of your contribution to Technically Write!
Finally, I'm rerunning last year's plea of my young editorial assistant. Let us not forget those who may do without.
