Greetings community leaders!
I am writing to ask for your help with an exciting new program that STC will launch on October 20-21, 2005. As part of the education transformation initiative, STC will offer a training program consisting of five intensive courses, each of which will run concurrently on those days in Arlington, Virginia, USA (five minutes from Washington, DC).
For our first program, we're looking for instructors with expertise in the following areas:
Five class offerings will be selected from the proposals received.
We want to offer the best instructors possible for these courses, and this is where you come in. We need your help in reaching out to potential instructors. You know who the experts are in your field.
Perhaps they've spoken at a meeting, or have run a workshop. Maybe they participate on your listserv or contribute to your newsletter.
Perhaps it's you! Many qualified experts do not speak at the annual conference, so we have no record of their topics of expertise.
Please help us find the best, most renowned instructors possible by forwarding this information to speakers, workshop instructors, and others you know who are qualified in the given areas. Ask them to contact me for details and an application.
The proposal deadline is January 14, 2005. We need your help NOW! If you have questions about the program, please contact me.
