Dear Ms Balaban,
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened your email and read that I had received a scholarship from the Lone Star Chapter of STC.
I wanted to thank you and STC for the scholarship. It gives me the opportunity and help I need to further my studies in the technical writing field at the University of North Texas. I look forward to becoming a member of STC along with joining STC AccessAbility SIG in the near future.
Again I want to thank all of you at Lone Star for the scholarship. The scholarship not only helps me with college expenses, but it also gives me a wonderful sense of achievement.
