Enter the STC Lone Star Community 2004-2005 Competitions!

We've all been inspired by the recent heroics at the Olympic Games in Athens. Who hasn't secretly harbored a fantasy of mounting the podium and hearing the accolades of your peers?
Just like in the Olympics, it takes confidence and pride to compete. It takes knowledge, talent and effort to win. Do you have what it takes to compete and win? Find out by entering your work in the STC Lone Star Community 2004-2005 competitions.
The Lone Star Community sponsors three categories of competition: Online Communication, Technical Art, and Technical Publications. If you've poured your best effort into a work product in one of these categories, you really should share it with your colleagues. You deserve our praise, and we want your guiding example. We all work with standards–if you compete and win, you might set new standards for all of us. If you win Best of Show, not only do you receive Lone Star Community recognition, but your work automatically qualifies for submission to the international competitions as well. Hard work is its own reward, but international recognition of your hard work is proof of its excellence.
Take a minute to review the Call for Entries information you received last month in the mail. Please take the time to read through the information to learn more about the categories of competition and how to submit your entry. The deadline for entries is Friday, October 1, 2004.
