I was drawn to technical writing when: I discovered my ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Someday I hope to: ride on the first space plane (since I’ve missed out on the Concorde), ride through the Chunnel, and travel to Australia and New Zealand.
Growing up I wanted to be: a fighter pilot, like the one who flew during “High Flight” (shown on TV at the broadcast signoff).
I enjoy reading: about science, nature, and technology. My favorite magazine is LIFE in Pictures, and my favorite fiction is Harry Potter.
My hobbies are: Photography, scrap-booking, and being outdoors.
My favorite musical group: Tough choice, but I’ll go with ACDC.
My favorite movie: Top Gun
I collect: blown glass, crystal, and shot glasses.
I wish I knew how to: drive an NHRA funny car or top fuel dragster.
The 2 celebrities I would like to meet are: Don Johnson and Mel Gibson (they both have awesome smiles!)
If I won a million dollars, the one thing I would do just for myself is: build a new house on several wooded acres in the country.
I wish the media would stop talking about: Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa (do the time Kobe; let’s move on.)
