STC has posted its 2003 Technical Communicator Salary Survey (of technical editors and writers in the U.S. and Canada) to its Web site. Go to www.stc.org/salary.asp and download the updated and revised version.
Earlier this year, STC conducted its first salary survey specifically for members working in academia. The results have been tabulated and placed on the STC Web site at www.stc.org/salary.asp.
The survey results are broken down by a number of factors, including academic rank and number of years of teaching experience. The survey also addresses benefits and job satisfaction.
To access the survey, you'll need your STC member number and a password. If you do not have a password or have forgotten your password, select "Password Help" for assistance.
