The workshop engines are revving! We are making arrangements to bring you workshop opportunities that will help you hone your writing and technical skills while helping you move ahead of the competition. We will bring you workshops in November 2003 and February 2004. We will let you know dates and locations when they are determined.
Why attend a workshop?
When you attend a workshop, you have the opportunity to hone your existing skills and to meet your career growth needs by selecting from a host of meaningful topics that will boost your knowledge, skills, and abilities; a boost that allows you to increase your marketability and take your career to the next level.
You will learn from the area's best in each subject area. Our workshop leaders are practicing professionals who have a great deal of experience in their subject areas. Workshop leaders are STC members and subject matter experts with years of experience in their subject area, and are highly esteemed in their fields.
Workshops also offer you an opportunity to get the training you need at a price that will make any budget smile. We want your success, not your money.
What topics are available?
You will have several topics to choose from during each workshop session. We offer you hands-on software training and soft skill training in both the November and February sessions. How can I attend a FREE workshop session?
We are able to keep our workshop costs down with the help of our volunteers. We offer a free session to volunteers who serve on the workshop committee and help with workshop preparation, registration, and coordination.
