The poor economy and unemployment situation is reflected in the Lone Star Chapter's membership numbers for March. After all the names were removed of people who did not renew their membership for 2003, the chapter had 470 members. This dip happens every year at this time, although in previous years it hasn't been quite so steep. Membership will pick back up over the next few months.
At the same time eight new members and one transfer joined the chapter. Join me in welcoming these new members:
