Goodbye for this Year, Winter Workshops!

By Jackie Damrau, 2nd VP

The January 18th Winter Workshop encountered low registration last month, which caused its cancellation. With all the pre-conference activities on the horizon, we have decided to also cancel the upcoming February 15th Winter Workshop.

Don't despair, though! We encourage you to attend one of the active SIG meetings, our monthly meetings, or volunteer to get involved with the upcoming annual conference activities. We still need volunteers in many areas.

We can also use newsletter articles on topics that you feel would interest our membership. An article doesn't have to be long (Look how short this one is!). It just needs to be written well. You can even provide your own graphic with your article. As technical writers, many of us don't get to write creatively. This is your opportunity to write a poem, short story, or other trivia-based article that lets your inner you demonstrate a more expressive manner.

We can always use articles. The major benefits:

Write an article today! Submit it to Technically Write!
