The Lone Star Chapter (LSC) Nominating Committee is working to compile a slate of volunteers interested in serving as 2003 – 2004 Lone Star Chapter officers.
The new year is well underway and how many of you have started on your 2003 resolution for professional growth? You cannot sit idly by and watch technology change and grow without participating in the development of your own profession. Enjoyment and growth from any venture comes from your degree of participation. Now is the time to participate by nominating committed leaders to serve as 2003 – 2004 STC Lone Star Chapter officers for a term of one year.
Nominate candidates who bring vision into our professional commitments, and above all, do not overlook volunteering yourself. The election slate must have at least one but not more than three nominees for each of the following offices:
Candidates must be members in good standing and cannot be student members.
During the February chapter meeting, LSC President Kathryn Poe will authorize publication of a complete list of nominees. The Nominating Committee will provide information on the election process in the March newsletter.
