Poe's Prose: Here We Go!

Well folks, it is that time again!

Welcome to the 2002-2003 Lone Star Chapter program year! With the International Conference coming to Dallas in May and STC turning 50, there are many interesting things afoot for us this year. The economic issues we are all facing make this a challenging year as well, but we have some great folks with terrific ideas to help us through.

Your chapter council this year is a lively mix of the "usual suspects" and new faces:

This is going to be a year of new adventures for us all, so I hope you will enjoy the ride and learn something along the way. As always, we welcome anyone who wants to be a part of the team. We will need your hearts and minds both in chapter efforts as well as those for the conference in May. This year the LSC is fraught with opportunities for everything from leading a SIG to working on web sites. We encourage you to jump in and try something new.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please email me at kpoe@ursaminorservices.com. I hope to see your smiling faces at the September meeting.

Sincerely,

Kathryn Poe
