  • Job Bank listings
Post an opening or browse for a new position! The LSC Job Bank maintains a free job posting service as a benefit to current and prospective members. Agencies, companies, and recruiters who advertise positions through the Job Bank pay no fees. Over the years, this service has helped many of the Lone Star Community's members find permanent or contract jobs.
  • Lone Star Help Desk
  • Annual competitions
Annual Competitions for Online Communications, Technical Publications, and Technical Art encourage tech comm professionals to submit their work product for judging. Our members participate in the judging process. Submissions are accepted in the fall and judging is held in November. Winners are announced at the annual Awards Banquet in January.
  • Professional Publications, including the award-winning Technically Write newsletter
The community's award-winning newsletter. Keep informed about meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops, competitions, employment reports, survey results, scholarships, community service projects, and mentoring opportunities.
  • Be a Superstar!
LSC volunteers can achieve Superstar status by attending meetings, participating on committees, judging competitions and helping with social service activities. Awards are presented annually.

Traditional education and professional development scholarships are awarded annually to applicants who demonstrate excellent writing skills and a desire to further their education or professional development in the field of technical communication.
  • SIN SIG
